Ilo was a young shepherd who lived on a cozy farm filled with animals. One day, his favorite sheep, Fluffy, wandered into the dark forest. Ilo was scared of the forest as it was dark and full of strange noises. He knew he had to find Fluffy, but he was too afraid. Ilo whispered to himself, "What if I get lost too?"
Ilo took a deep breath and decided to go into the forest. As he stepped in, the trees seemed to loom over him like giants. The wind howled, making the leaves rustle loudly. Ilo stopped and whispered, "I can't do this. It's too scary!" He turned back, feeling defeated.
He gathered his courage and tried again, this time taking a lantern with him. But soon, he tripped over a root and fell. "Ouch!" Ilo cried, sitting on the ground. "Why is this so hard?" he wondered, feeling tears in his eyes. The forest seemed even darker now.
Exhausted and scared, Ilo sat on a log and thought about giving up. "I'll never find Fluffy," he muttered sadly. Just then, he remembered his bedtime talks with Jesus. "Please help me be brave," he whispered to the sky.
In his heart, Ilo felt a warm glow, like a hug from a friend. He stood up with renewed courage. "I can do this," he said aloud. Ilo followed the faint sound of Fluffy's bleating. "Fluffy, I'm coming!" he called out, feeling braver with each step.
At last, Ilo found Fluffy tangled in some bushes. "There you are!" he exclaimed happily. Carefully, he freed her and hugged her tightly. "Let's go home," Ilo said, his heart light and full of joy. He knew he could always be brave with faith in his great friend.
