Little Monkey and Corn

Courage Pixar style

One sunny morning, Leo, the little monkey, woke up in the forest with a rumbling tummy. He needed to find food quickly because the trees around him were disappearing. - I'm hungry. I need to find some food, Leo said. He spotted a cornfield nearby, but as he approached, he saw humans cutting down trees. The forest needed saving, but how could a small monkey like him do anything about it?

Leo was determined to get some corn, but a big tractor blocked his way. - I can't get past this giant machine! Leo exclaimed. He tried to sneak around it, but the tractor's rumbling scared him away. He retreated back into the safety of the trees, worried about how he would eat. - I need to find another way, Leo thought.

Leo continued his search and stumbled upon an apple orchard. The apples looked delicious, but a tall fence surrounded the orchard. - How will I get over this fence? Leo wondered aloud. He climbed the fence, only to slip and fall back to the ground. - I need to be more careful, Leo sighed, feeling frustrated and hungry.

Feeling defeated, Leo sat beneath a tree, considering giving up. - Maybe I should just go home, Leo thought sadly. Then he remembered his forest friends who depended on him. - I can't leave them hungry too, he told himself. But what could he do? He felt small and helpless against the big machines and fences.

Just as Leo was about to give up, an old wise owl swooped down beside him. - Don't lose hope, little monkey. Use your cleverness, the owl advised. Leo listened carefully and realized he could use the vines to swing over obstacles. - That's it! I'll swing over them! Leo exclaimed with renewed energy.

With newfound courage, Leo swung over the orchard fence, gathered apples, and swung back. He shared the apples with his forest friends, who were grateful for his bravery. The humans saw the clever monkey and decided to leave the forest alone. - You did it, Leo! his friends cheered. Leo beamed with pride, knowing he had saved the forest and learned the true meaning of courage.
