Finally on the plane, Leo felt a bit better, but then his ears started to hurt during takeoff. " - Mom, my ears!" he cried softly. His mom explained, " - Try swallowing or yawning, it might help." Leo tried, but it was still uncomfortable. He wanted to be brave, but it was hard.
In Istanbul, they had to switch planes. Leo was tired and grumpy. " - I don't want to travel anymore," he mumbled. His mom knelt down, " - I know it's tough, but we're almost there. Remember why we're doing this?" Leo nodded, " - To see Grandma and Grandpa."
As they finally arrived in Russia, Leo met a friendly airport worker who spoke English. " - Welcome to Russia!" she said with a smile. Leo felt relieved and asked, " - How do you say 'hello' here?" She taught him, "Privet!" Leo practiced with a giggle, feeling proud and happy.
