Little Dragon Firemouth Doesn’t Want to Sleep

Courage Pixar style

In a cozy cave at the edge of a mystical forest, Little Dragon Firemouth struggles to sleep because his fiery breath keeps waking him up. With the help of his family, Firemouth embarks on a quest to find a creative solution. Will he find the courage to overcome his fiery challenge and drift off to sleep?

Little Dragon Firemouth snuggled into his soft bed of leaves inside the cozy cave. But every time he began to dream, a burst of fire whooshed from his mouth! The warm flames made his bed too hot, and Firemouth woke up with a start. - Oh no, not again, he mumbled to himself. Firemouth really wanted to sleep, but his fiery breath was a big problem.

Firemouth tried to fall asleep again, but the same thing happened. He breathed out fire, and the leaves beneath him crackled with heat. - Maybe I should just stay awake forever, he sighed. His mother heard him and came over to help. - Let's try something else, she suggested.

Firemouth's mother gave him a cold stone to sleep on, hoping it would help. But even with the stone, Firemouth's fiery breath made everything too warm. - It's no use, he groaned. He felt like giving up as nothing seemed to work. Firemouth's father then entered with a hopeful smile.

Firemouth was about to give up when his father had an idea. - What if you try blowing cool air instead of fire? his father suggested. Firemouth blinked in surprise. - Cool air? Can I really do that? he asked, feeling a spark of hope. His father nodded, encouraging him to be brave and try.

Firemouth took a deep breath and tried to blow cool air. At first, only a tiny flame appeared, but he didn't give up. He tried again, focusing really hard. This time, a cool breeze flowed from his mouth, and his bed felt just right. - I did it! he cheered.

With his bed finally cool, Firemouth snuggled back into his leaves. - Goodnight, Mom and Dad, he whispered, feeling sleepy. His parents smiled and tucked him in with a gentle hug. Firemouth closed his eyes, and this time, he didn't wake up. He slept soundly, dreaming of brave adventures.
