Little Layla

Layla was walking with her friends in the woods when she realized she had wandered off the path. The sky grew dark and rain began to pour. She felt scared and alone, knowing she needed to find her way back. Layla's heart pounded as she thought about the night ahead. The problem was that Layla didn't know which way to go.

Layla tried to remember the way back, but every path looked the same. Her feet slipped on the wet leaves, making it hard to walk. She saw a large tree that looked familiar but wasn't sure. Layla's mind raced with worry. - I need to find a way home, she whispered to herself.

Layla's eyes strained in the darkness, and she tripped over roots and rocks. She called out for help, but the only answer was the wind. Her clothes were soaked, and she was shivering. Layla felt hopeless as the rain continued to pour. - Why can't I find the way? she cried.

In the morning, Layla woke up to a bright and sunny day. She noticed a butterfly fluttering nearby. It seemed to dance around, leading her down a small path. - Maybe you're showing me the way, Layla said with a hopeful smile. She decided to follow the butterfly.

The butterfly led Layla to a familiar clearing. She realized she was close to home. Layla ran with joy, her fear melting away. She saw her house and ran into her mother's arms. - I learned to never give up, she said with a smile.
