Little Mouse

Roby the golden little mouse was very hungry. He lived in an old house inside the kitchen. Roby wanted some cheese for his hungry tummy. But there was a big problem. A big cat was always watching the kitchen.

Roby saw a piece of cheese on the kitchen counter. But the big cat was sleeping right next to it. Roby was scared. He didn't know how to get the cheese. He whispered to himself.

- How will I get the cheese? Roby asked himself. He tried to sneak past the cat. But the cat's tail moved, and Roby ran back. He was too scared to go any closer.

Roby felt so sad. He thought he would never get the cheese. He sat down and cried. He thought about giving up. Roby didn't know what to do.

Then, a friendly mouse named Mia appeared. She said, - Don't give up, Roby! We can do this together. Mia had an idea. - Let's make a noise to wake up the cat and then hide.

Roby and Mia made a loud noise. The cat woke up and looked around. They quickly hid behind a pot. - Now, let's get the cheese, Mia whispered. Roby felt braver with Mia's help. They grabbed the cheese and ran away happily.
