Banks, Taj, and Woody were excited to learn surfing. They loved the beach and dreamed of riding the waves. One sunny day, they saw a big wave coming. Banks felt nervous but said, 'We can do this!' Taj and Woody nodded. They paddled bravely toward the wave.
As they paddled, a huge wave knocked them off their boards. Taj said, 'That was scary!' Woody added, 'I don't know if we can do it.' Banks felt worried, but he didn't want to give up. 'Let's try again,' he insisted. They all climbed back on their boards.
The boys paddled again, but the waves seemed even bigger this time. Woody cried, 'I can't do it!' Taj looked at Banks, 'What should we do?' Banks took a deep breath, 'We must be brave and keep trying.' They paddled harder, determined to catch a wave.
After many tries, they still couldn't stand up. Taj said, 'Maybe we should give up.' Woody nodded, 'Yes, it's too hard.' Banks felt sad, 'But I really want to surf.' They all sat on their boards, feeling defeated.
Just then, their surfing instructor came by. 'What's wrong?' he asked. Banks explained, 'We can't stand up on our boards.' The instructor smiled, 'Remember, surfing is about having fun. Let's try one more time together.' The boys felt a bit more hopeful.
With their instructor's help, they tried again. This time, they felt more balanced. 'We did it!' Banks shouted as they rode a small wave. Taj and Woody cheered. Suddenly, they saw a seal swimming nearby, as if celebrating with them. They all laughed and felt proud.
