Little Z

Charity Pixar style

A story about a young girl named Zyla who learns the value of charity during her first three months at Manly Beach.

Zyla was born on a sunny day at Manly Beach. She loved drinking milk and cuddling with her family. One day, she heard that some children nearby didn't have enough food. Zyla wanted to help them, but she didn’t know how. - What can we do to help them? Zyla asked her mommy.

Zyla’s mommy suggested they share some of Zyla’s milk. But when Zyla looked in the fridge, there was only one bottle left. - Oh no, we don't have enough! Zyla cried. She felt sad because she couldn’t help the children right away. Zyla decided to go look for more milk.

Zyla searched around the house but found no more milk. She even checked under her crib and in the toy box. - Maybe we can ask our neighbors, Zyla suggested. But they were all out of milk too. Zyla felt like giving up.

Zyla went to the beach to think. She saw a little boy crying because he was hungry. - I wish I could help you, Zyla whispered. She felt so small and helpless. Just then, she saw a friendly seagull flying by.

The seagull had an idea. - Follow me! the seagull squawked. Zyla followed the seagull to a big tree. Under the tree was a hidden basket full of milk bottles. - We can share this! Zyla exclaimed happily.

Zyla ran back to the beach with the basket. - Look what I found! she shouted. The children were so happy to see the milk. They all drank happily and thanked Zyla for her kindness. Zyla felt warm and happy inside.

Zyla learned that helping others made her feel good. - I want to do this every day, Zyla told her mommy. Her mommy smiled and hugged her. - I'm so proud of you, she said. Zyla knew she would always try to help others.

From that day on, Zyla always looked for ways to help. She shared her toys, her snacks, and her smiles. - Helping is the best, Zyla would say. And everyone at Manly Beach loved her for her kind heart. Zyla was happy and content, knowing she made a difference.
