Luna loved watching stars twinkle in the night sky. One evening, she noticed a bright shooting star falling into the forest. Luna felt so excited! She wanted to find it, but the forest was dark and big. The idea of the lost star made Luna's heart race. She decided she had to find it.
Luna scampered into the forest, but soon she realized it was hard to see. Shadows danced between the trees, making Luna feel small. Her path was blocked by thick bushes and thorny vines. Luna's paws got tangled, and she worried she might not find the star. - I can't give up now, Luna told herself.
Luna met a wise old owl perched high in a tree. - Have you seen a fallen star? Luna asked eagerly. - Look near the stream, the owl hooted softly. Luna hurried to the stream but found nothing. The water was cold, and slippery rocks made her stumble. Luna's heart felt heavy, but she pressed on.
Feeling tired and lost, Luna sat by a log. She thought about going home without the star. Her ears drooped, and she sighed. Just then, a cheerful frog hopped by. - Why so sad? asked the frog. - The star... I can't find it, Luna replied.
The frog smiled. - Maybe you need some help! Luna felt a spark of hope. The frog introduced Luna to a shy hedgehog who knew the forest well. - Follow the fireflies, the hedgehog whispered. Luna's eyes widened with excitement. Together, they followed the glowing fireflies deeper into the forest.
The fireflies led them to a tiny firefly sitting on a leaf. Its glow was dim. - Are you the star? Luna asked softly. - I lost my glow, the firefly whispered. Luna and her friends sang a happy song, and slowly, the firefly's light returned. - Thank you! it beamed. Luna felt warm inside, knowing she helped a friend.
