Luna's First Christmas

It's Christmas Eve and baby Luna is getting ready for bed. Her parents are excited for her first Christmas. They hang up stockings, but suddenly, Luna notices one is missing! Oh no, Luna's stocking is gone. Luna's parents look worried. They need to find it before Santa comes.
They search all around the house. Under the tree, behind the couch, but the stocking is nowhere to be found. Luna's mom says, - We must find it, or Santa won't leave presents for you. Luna looks up at her dad, who nods in agreement. But it seems like the stocking is truly lost.
Luna's dad suggests checking outside. They bundle up and look around the snowy yard. Luna's mom and dad are starting to feel frustrated. - Maybe it's gone forever, her mom sighs. Luna makes a sad little noise; she really wanted Santa to visit.
Back inside, Luna is feeling sleepy and sad. Her parents tuck her into bed. - Maybe we should just give up, her dad whispers. Luna closes her eyes, wishing for a Christmas miracle. Her mom gives her a gentle kiss on the forehead, feeling helpless.
