Sydney was excited! Mama and she were going to the beach in Florida. But, oh no! Sydney's favorite toy, a little bumblebee, was missing. Mama said, "We need to find it before we leave." Sydney felt sad. " - I want my bee," Sydney said.
They looked everywhere. Under the couch, on the bookshelf, even in the toy box. But the bumblebee was not there! " - Where could it be?" asked Sydney, looking worried. Mama said, "Let's keep looking, we can't give up!" Sydney's curiosity grew.
Sydney and Mama tried looking in the garden. The bumblebee wasn't there either. Sydney felt a big tear roll down her cheek. " - Why can't I find it, Mama?" she cried. Mama hugged her tight. "We will find it, Sydney, let's be honest and think," Mama said.
Sydney thought about what Mama said. Maybe she hid it when playing pretend! But Sydney felt scared to tell Mama. " - What if it's gone forever?" Sydney worried. Mama smiled, " - It's okay, let's try being honest and remember."
Suddenly, Sydney remembered! She hid the bumblebee in her toy airplane. " - I forgot, Mama!" she said excitedly. Mama checked the airplane and there it was! " - You did it, Sydney!" Mama cheered. Sydney felt happy and relieved.
With the bumblebee found, Sydney and Mama went to the beach. Sydney learned it felt good to tell the truth. " - I love my bee, Mama," she giggled. Mama smiled, " - I love you more, Sydney." They played together in the sand, happy and honest.
