Max is a ten-year-old boy who loves chocolate and can't stand doing his homework. When Max makes a promise to his brother Steve but doesn't keep it, he learns a valuable lesson about honesty. Join Max on his journey as he faces obstacles and struggles to make things right again.

Max loved chocolates more than anything. One day, his brother Steve said, " - If you finish my homework, I'll give you all my chocolates." Max quickly agreed. But Max didn't do the homework and still ate the chocolates. Steve found out and was very upset, and Max was grounded.

Max wanted to play outside, but he was stuck at home. " - It's not fair, Steve," Max complained. Steve replied, " - You promised to do my homework." Max realized he had made a mistake. He needed to fix things and regain his brother's trust.

Max tried to do the homework, but it was hard. " - This is impossible!" he groaned. He felt like giving up. But he knew he had to keep trying if he wanted to go outside. Max realized he needed help but didn’t know who to ask.

Max asked his mom for help, but she was busy. " - Maybe later, Max," she said. Max tried asking his friend, but he was sick. " - Sorry, Max," his friend replied. Max felt stuck and more frustrated than before.

Feeling defeated, Max sat on the stairs. " - I can't do this," he mumbled to himself. He thought about how much he wanted to play outside. Max almost decided to give up completely. But deep inside, he knew he couldn't quit.

Just then, Max remembered an old comic book about a hero. The hero never gave up, no matter what. " - Maybe I should be like that hero," Max thought. He felt a spark of hope. Max decided to try one more time.

Max decided to apologize to Steve. " - I'm sorry, Steve," he said. " - I'll finish your homework now." Steve smiled and said, " - Thanks, Max." With Steve’s help, Max finally completed the homework.

Max learned that being honest felt good. " - I'm proud of you, Max," his mom said. Max felt happy to have made things right. He promised to always keep his promises. Max finally went outside, feeling free and honest.
