Millie, a curious and brave little mouse, explores the Smith Family house while they are out. She encounters the family's big, fat, orange cat, Oscar. In the Smith Family house, there lived a little mouse named Millie. She was curious and brave. One sunny day, the family went out, leaving the house silent. Millie decided to explore. But soon, she heard a loud purr. It was Oscar, the big, fat, orange cat!
Millie froze in her tracks. Oscar's eyes sparkled with curiosity and mischief. Millie wanted to explore, but Oscar blocked her path. She had to find a way around him. Millie took a deep breath and tiptoed quietly.
Millie managed to sneak past Oscar, but she wasn't safe yet. She climbed onto a table, but the vase wobbled. It crashed to the floor, making a loud noise. Oscar's ears perked up, and he leaped onto the table. Millie had to run fast!
Millie ran as fast as she could, her tiny heart pounding. She was tired and scared. Oscar was just too fast. Millie hid behind a bookcase, thinking of giving up. She whispered to herself, 'I can't do this.'
Just then, Millie remembered something her mom once told her: 'Be brave and never give up.' Millie took a deep breath and looked around. She saw a small hole in the wall. If she could reach it, she would be safe.
With renewed courage, Millie dashed towards the hole. She squeezed through just as Oscar reached her. Safe at last, she looked back and smiled. The Smith Family returned and saw the mess. They decided to keep Millie as a pet. Over time, Millie and Oscar became best friends.
