Milo and His Flight to Adventure

Wisdom Watercolor style

Milo, a curious two-year-old, finds his great great grandfather's pilot goggles and dreams of flying around the world. But when he struggles with confidence and challenges, he learns the wisdom needed to become a pilot like his ancestor.

Milo was a little boy with big dreams. He loved airplanes and wanted to fly his own plane one day. One sunny morning, Milo was exploring Oma and Papa's attic when he found a dusty old trunk. Inside, he discovered a pair of shiny, well-worn pilot goggles and an old map.

His mom and dad told him: "those were your great-great-grandpa's! His name was Milo and these are yours now." He had heard amazing stories about his great-great grandpa who used to fly planes. Milo said, "How can I fly too?"

"First," said Mom, "you need a well-built plane that can take you anywhere in the world." Mom pulled out some pieces of paper and taught Milo how to make a plane. Plane after plane, Milo made so many it filled his room. Finally, the perfect airplane was ready! Milo picked up his plane, put on the goggles and felt ready to fly!

"But wait," said Dad, "you need a map so that you know where to go!" Milo picked up his plane, put on the goggles and grabbed the old map he found from the attic. He pointed to an island called Hawaii and was ready to fly!

"But wait," Oma and Papa said, "you need to take care of your crew". He remembered how nice it was when they comforted him when he was scared. Milo picked up his plane, put on the goggles, grabbed the old map and gave his copilot, Wren, a big thumbs up. "You ready? Everything's going to be just fine!" Wren said, "ready!" and so, Milo called out, "Flight Milo is ready for takeoff!"

He had his plane, goggles, copilot and map... Milo was ready - he could finally fly! He flew and flew high in the sky! One day, he would fly his very own plane too...
