Miranda the mouse lived on a bustling farm. She loved her cozy mouse hole but was too shy to talk. One day, she heard a big secret: the chickens' eggs were missing! All the animals needed to know. But Miranda felt too scared to speak up.
Miranda tried to tell the chickens about the eggs. But oh no, her voice was too small to hear! She squeaked and squeaked, but no one noticed. She felt even smaller and wished she could be brave.
She tried to get the pig's attention next. But the pigs were splashing in the mud and didn't see Miranda. She waved her tiny paws, but they just kept playing. Miranda felt like giving up.
Miranda sat under a tree, feeling very small. She thought about the missing eggs and felt sad. Maybe she was too shy to help. "Maybe I can't do it," Miranda sighed. "Don't give up, whispered a nearby owl.
The owl fluffed his feathers and told Miranda a secret: "You have a voice inside you, strong and true. You have important things to say!" Miranda took a deep breath. She felt a spark of courage. She ran back to the farm, ready to try again.
Miranda stood on a haystack and called out with all her might, "Listen, everyone! The eggs are missing and we all need to work together to find them!". All the animals stopped and listened. Miranda had done it! She found her confident voice and saved the day.
