Monty loved his black, shiny bow tie! One day, he asked his mom if he could wear it to preschool. " - Can I wear my bow tie today, Mom?" Monty asked eagerly. " - Of course, dear," his mom replied with a smile. But when Monty looked, the bow tie was missing! He felt worried and knew he had to find it for his special day.
Monty started his search by looking under his bed. But it wasn't there! " - Where could it be?" Monty wondered aloud. He checked his secret hideaway and his brother's toy box too. No bow tie! Monty felt a little frustrated but kept searching.
Monty ran to the kitchen, hoping to find his bow tie there. He opened every cupboard and drawer. " - Maybe it's here!" he said to himself, but no luck. He even checked outside in the backyard. Still no bow tie! Monty was getting really upset now.
Finally, Monty felt like giving up. He sat on the floor with a sigh. " - I'll never find it," he whispered sadly. His mom noticed his sadness and sat beside him. " - Don't worry, Monty," she comforted. Monty didn't know what to do next.
Monty's mom had an idea, " - When I can't find something, I ask for help with a prayer." Together, they closed their eyes and asked for guidance. After the prayer, Monty suddenly had a thought. " - What if it's in my tuxedo pocket?" he exclaimed with hope.
Monty rushed to his mom's closet. There hung his tuxedo from Auntie's wedding. " - Please be there," he whispered as he checked the pocket. To his delight, there was his shiny black bow tie! Monty was overjoyed and felt grateful.
