Mosi was excited. Today was his first day at the new dog daycare in Shanghai. But he was nervous too. " - What if they don't understand me?" Mosi asked his mom. She smiled and said, " - Just be yourself, Mosi." Mosi wagged his tail, but he still worried.
As Mosi entered the daycare, he saw many dogs playing. They barked in a language he didn't understand. " - Hello!" Mosi tried to say, but the other dogs just stared. Mosi felt alone. " - I miss my old school," he thought. It was hard to be different.
Mosi wanted to join the games, but every time he tried, the other dogs ignored him. " - Why won't they play with me?" Mosi asked a fluffy Pekingese. " - You're new," the Pekingese said. Mosi sat down sadly. He felt like he didn't belong.
The teacher called the dogs for a lesson. Mosi didn't understand the instructions. " - I can't do this," he thought. All the barking and noises were confusing. He felt like giving up. But he knew he had to try.
Mosi sat by himself during lunch. " - Maybe I should just go home," he sighed. But then, a friendly Dalmatian approached. " - Don't worry," she said. " - I felt the same way when I was new." Mosi's ears perked up. Maybe he wasn't alone after all.
The Dalmatian introduced Mosi to her friends. They showed him how to play their favorite games. " - This is fun!" Mosi barked happily. He began to learn their language bit by bit. Mosi felt a little braver.
Mosi realized he could mix his language with theirs. " - Fetch!" he barked, and the others joined in. " - You're learning fast," the Dalmatian said. Mosi felt proud. He was starting to fit in.
By the end of the day, Mosi was playing with everyone. He had made new friends and learned new games. " - I did it!" Mosi barked with joy. He was no longer scared. Mosi had found his courage.
