Nimijin, a sweet and humble 9-year-old girl in Tokyo, embarks on an imaginative journey with her loyal dog Mr. Doggy. When faced with the harsh reality of her abusive home, Nimijin struggles to find the courage to overcome her fears and discover a world of her own making.

The next day, Nimijin's parents were even angrier than usual. They yelled at her for no reason, making her feel small and helpless. She tried to ignore them and continue her search. She even asked Mr. Doggy for help. But no key appeared, and Nimijin felt more and more hopeless.
