My First Beach Trip
Vail, a curious 3-year-old, goes on his first beach trip to Myrtle Beach. With excitement bubbling inside, Vail faces a series of challenges that test his courage. Will he overcome his fears and enjoy his day at the beach?
Vail was so excited! Today was his first trip to Myrtle Beach. He had never seen the ocean before. As they arrived, Vail saw the big, blue waves. But then, he felt a bit scared. What if the waves were too big?
Vail grabbed his tiny beach towel and ran towards the water. But as he got closer, a big wave splashed him! Vail stepped back, feeling scared. - The waves are too big! Vail said.
Vail's mom knelt down beside him, smiling. - It's okay, Vail. You are brave, she said. Vail took a deep breath. But then, he saw tiny crabs running around! Vail was too scared to move.
Vail sat on his beach towel, feeling sad. - I can't do it, he thought. He watched other kids playing and laughing. He wanted to join them but felt too scared. - Maybe the beach isn't for me, Vail said softly.
Just then, a friendly seagull landed near Vail. - Hi there! Are you afraid? the seagull asked. Vail nodded. - It's okay to be scared, but you can try small steps, the seagull said. Vail smiled and decided to try again.
Vail slowly walked towards the water. He dipped his toes in, and it felt nice! Vail giggled and splashed a little. - I'm doing it! he cheered. Vail spent the rest of the day building sandcastles and collecting seashells.
