Tunde's Courageous School Adventure
A young boy named Tunde faces his fear of starting school, learning that courage can turn fear into friendship and joy.
Tunde was tucked in bed, eyes wide open. He was supposed to start school today.
He didn't want to get up. School seemed big and scary.
- Why do I have to go? Tunde mumbled.
- It's okay to be scared, said his mom. - But it will be a beautiful day!
Tunde's mom helped him get dressed in his new uniform.
He had breakfast with his parents who took lots of pictures.
After breakfast, Tunde's mom packed his lunch with a big smile.
His dad drove him to school. Tunde peeked out of the window nervously.
- Look, that's your school! said Dad.
The school was big with a lot of children playing.
Tunde held his dad's hand tightly, feeling nervous.
Tunde's dad introduced him to the teacher, Mrs. Brown.
- Hello Tunde! Welcome, said Mrs. Brown warmly.
Tunde met new friends, Sophy and Steve, during playtime.
- Do you want to play with us? Sophy asked.
Tunde shared lunch with his new friends, feeling happy.
When it was time to go home, Tunde didn't want to leave.
