The next day, Aunt Sheila took Maverick to the park to help clean up. Maverick picked up a trash bag, but it was too heavy. - I can't do it, Aunt Sheila, he said with tears in his eyes. - It's okay, Maisel and I are here to help, she replied. Even with their help, Maverick still felt like he wasn't doing enough.
On the third day, they went to a food drive. Maverick tried to hand out food, but his tiny hands couldn't hold the big cans. - I give up, Aunt Sheila, he cried. - Don't give up, Maverick, Aunt Sheila said softly. - We'll find a way together. But Maverick felt hopeless and wanted to go home.
Aunt Sheila had an idea. - Let's make something special for the shelter, she said. Together, they baked cookies and made colorful cards. - This is fun! Maverick said, smiling. - See? Everyone can help in their own way, Aunt Sheila said. Maverick felt happy and hopeful again.
On the last day, Maverick proudly handed out the cookies and cards at the shelter. Everyone loved them! - Thank you, Maverick! they said.
