On her 7th birthday, Lilly receives her first tool box to build whatever her imagination leads her to
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Lily. She loved to build things with her imagination! One day, her parents gave her a special box. It was filled with tools just for her.
Lilly asked her parents for tools, but they were too busy planning her birthday party. She decided to ask her friend, Max, for help. Max had a toolbox, but he didn't want to lend it to her. He was afraid she might break his tools.
Lilly didn't give up. She went to her neighbor, Mr. Thompson, who was a carpenter. But Mr. Thompson was out of town. Lilly felt sad but decided to keep looking. She remembered her uncle, who lived nearby and had a big workshop.
Lilly's uncle was busy with his own projects and couldn't help her either. She sat down under the tree and felt like crying. 'Maybe I should just give up,' she thought. It seemed impossible to get the tools she needed.
Just then, her mom came outside and saw her. - Why are you so sad? her mom asked. - I can't find any tools to build my treehouse, Lilly replied. Her mom smiled and said, - Let's go to the store and get you your very own set of tools. Lilly's eyes lit up with excitement.
With her new tools, Lilly worked hard all week. She measured, sawed, and hammered with great care. On the day of her birthday party, her friends and family gathered around the tree. They all cheered as Lilly proudly showed off her very own treehouse. She had done it!
