My Friend Lola

They decided to ask their friends if anyone had seen the teddy bear. They walked over to their friend Max. - Max, did you see Lola's teddy bear? Sam asked. Max shook his head, saying he hadn't seen it. Lola sighed, feeling worried.
Next, they asked Emma, who was swinging on the swings. - Emma, did you find a teddy bear? Lola asked. Emma said she didn't, but she would keep an eye out for it. Sam and Lola thanked her and continued their search.
After searching everywhere, Sam and Lola felt tired. - Maybe we won't find it, Lola said sadly. Sam nodded, feeling unsure. He didn't want to give up, but it seemed so hard. They sat on a bench, thinking quietly.
Just then, Mr. Green, the park keeper, walked by. - What's wrong, kids? he asked kindly. Sam explained about the lost teddy bear. Mr. Green smiled and said, - Let's check the lost and found box! Sam and Lola felt hopeful again.
The lost and found box was near the park entrance. Sam and Lola ran over to check it. They opened the box and peeked inside. There it was! Lola's teddy bear was safe and sound. Lola hugged it tightly, feeling happy again.
Sam felt relieved that they found the teddy bear. - I'm so glad we didn't give up, Sam said. Lola smiled, thanking Sam for his help. They promised to always be honest and help each other. Sam felt proud of their teamwork.
On the way home, Sam and Lola talked about their adventure. - Honesty really helped us today, Sam said. Lola agreed, saying it made everything better. They both learned how important it was to be honest and kind.
