My Little Shadow

Tolerance Vector style

An engaging tale of Sam, who feels overshadowed by his younger brother Milo, leading to frustration and jealousy. Sam's journey to understanding and accepting his brother teaches valuable lessons in empathy and family bonds.

Sam loved playing with his toys, especially his favorite train set. But there was a problem. His little brother, Milo, always wanted to play with Sam's toys too. " - Why does Milo get to play with my train set?" Sam asked his mom. " - He's too young to have his own," she replied. Sam felt like Milo was always in his shadow, getting all the attention.

One day, Sam decided to build a train track all by himself. Just as he was finishing, Milo toddled over and knocked it down. " - Milo! Why did you do that?" Sam cried. Milo giggled, not understanding why Sam was upset. Sam's mom came over and said, " - Milo didn't mean to, Sam. He's just little." But Sam was still upset.

Sam tried again the next day. This time, he built a fort out of cushions. But Milo crawled inside and ruined it. " - Milo, stop!" Sam yelled. His dad said, " - Sam, remember, Milo just wants to play with you." Sam felt like he couldn't have any fun without Milo getting in the way.

Feeling defeated, Sam told his mom he wanted to give up playing altogether. " - Maybe I should just let Milo have all my toys," Sam sighed. His mom hugged him and said, " - It's okay to feel that way, Sam. But remember, Milo looks up to you." Sam nodded, but he didn't know what to do.

Later that day, Sam saw Milo trying to stack blocks, but they kept falling. Sam remembered what his mom said. " - Milo, do you need help?" Sam asked. Milo nodded, and Sam helped him build a tower. Milo clapped his hands, and Sam felt proud.

From then on, Sam shared his toys with Milo and taught him new games. " - Let's play together," Sam would say, and Milo would happily join in. Sam realized that Milo wasn't a shadow, but a little brother who adored him. " - Having you around is fun," Sam told Milo. And it was true.
