My New Class Adventure
A young, curious student from Hampden Park PS starts a new exciting adventure of courage and self-discovery as he navigate the challenges of a new class and teacher, learning to embrace change and new friendships along the way.
Next year, I will be going to a new class with a new teacher. Change can feel exciting and a little scary. That’s okay! It’s normal to have mixed feelings.
Next year I will have a new teacher. They will help me learn new things and support me in my classroom adventures. I can meet my new teacher on the first day of school. I can ask them questions to get to know them better!
Even though I will be in a new class, I can still keep in touch with my current teacher, __________. I can share with them how I am doing in my new class or tell them about exciting things I learn. I might even write them a letter!
Some things will be similar in my new class: I will still have friends around me. We will still have fun learning activities. There will be rules that help us feel safe and happy.
