My Rosary Journey

Mary lived in a small village in Ghana. She loved helping others and wore beautiful kente jewelry. One day, she found an old rosary in her grandmother's chest. 'What is this, Grandma?' Mary asked. 'It’s a special rosary,' her grandmother replied. 'It can guide you to help those in need.'

Mary decided to use the rosary to help her village. But she didn’t know where to start. 'Where should I go first?' Mary wondered aloud. Her grandmother smiled and said, 'The rosary will guide you, my dear.' Mary took a deep breath and began her journey.

Mary’s first stop was the village square, where she saw children playing. She noticed a boy sitting alone, looking sad. 'Why are you sad?' Mary asked. 'I lost my toy,' the boy replied. Mary knew she had to help him find it.

Mary searched everywhere for the boy’s toy but couldn’t find it. She started to feel hopeless. 'Maybe it’s gone forever,' Mary thought. 'Don’t give up,' a gentle voice inside her said. She decided to keep looking.

After hours of searching, Mary finally found the toy under a tree. 'I found it!' she shouted joyfully. The boy’s face lit up with happiness. 'Thank you, Mary!' he said. Mary felt a warm glow in her heart.

Mary continued her journey and met an old woman who couldn’t carry her water pot. 'Can I help you?' Mary asked. 'Yes, please,' the old woman replied. Mary carried the water pot all the way to the woman’s home. 'You are so kind, Mary,' the old woman said.

Mary started to feel tired and wondered if she could continue. 'This is hard work,' she thought. 'Should I give up?' Suddenly, the rosary glowed softly. 'Keep going, Mary,' it seemed to say. Mary felt a renewed sense of purpose.

Mary met a little girl crying by the river. 'Why are you crying?' Mary asked gently. 'I lost my shoes in the water,' the girl sobbed. Mary decided to wade into the river to look for the shoes. 'Don’t worry, I’ll find them,' she said.

The river was deeper than Mary expected, and she struggled to find the shoes. 'I can’t do this,' she thought. 'Yes, you can,' the gentle voice inside her said. Mary took a deep breath and kept searching.

After a long search, Mary found the shoes stuck between some rocks. 'I found them!' she exclaimed. The little girl’s eyes sparkled with joy. 'Thank you, Mary!' she said. Mary felt proud of herself for not giving up.

Mary felt exhausted and wondered if she could continue helping others. 'I’m so tired,' she thought. 'Maybe I should stop.' She sat down and held the rosary tightly. 'What should I do?' she asked softly.

Mary’s grandmother appeared and sat beside her. 'You’re doing great, Mary,' she said. 'But I’m so tired, Grandma,' Mary replied. 'Remember, the rosary is about faith and charity,' her grandmother said. 'You have the strength to continue.'

With her grandmother’s encouragement, Mary felt a new surge of energy. 'I can do this,' she said. She got up and continued her journey with determination. 'The rosary will guide me,' she thought. Mary knew she was on the right path.

Mary met a boy who was hungry and had no food. 'Can you help me?' he asked. 'Of course,' Mary replied. She shared her lunch with him. 'Thank you, Mary,' the boy said gratefully. Mary felt happy to help.

Mary continued helping others in her village, guided by the rosary. She mended clothes, fetched water, and shared food. Each act of charity made her feel stronger. 'Thank you, Mary,' everyone said. Mary realized the true power of the rosary.

Mary returned home, feeling proud and fulfilled. 'I did it, Grandma!' Mary said happily. 'I knew you could, my dear,' her grandmother replied. 'The rosary guided you well.' Mary knew she had made a real difference in her village.
