Nadiia was a little girl with short curly hair living in Moscow. One cold winter day, her favorite blanket went missing. This was her special winter blanket that kept her warm. She felt very sad without it. Nadiia decided to find it, no matter what.
- Where's my winter blanket? Nadiia asked. Her mother suggested looking around the house. Nadiia checked every corner of her room. But the blanket was nowhere to be found. She felt determined to continue her search.
Nadiia decided to check the living room next. But it was filled with many toys. She had to move her toys out of the way. The blanket was still missing. Nadiia felt a little tired but kept searching.
- Maybe it's in the kitchen, Nadiia thought. She carefully opened all the drawers. But only found pots and pans. Her blanket was not there. Nadiia sighed and sat down to think.
Nadiia decided to check the backyard. It was covered in snow. She put on her boots and opened the door. The cold wind rushed in. Her blanket was not in the snow.
Nadiia remembered playing in the attic last week. She decided to go up and check. The attic was dark and a little scary. Nadiia took a deep breath and climbed up. But still, no blanket.
Feeling a bit lost, Nadiia sat down on the stairs. - I can't find it anywhere, she said sadly. She thought about all the places she had searched. Nadiia felt like giving up. But she remembered her promise to find it.
