Nan, Mummy, and Janie

In Liverpool, little Janie loved her toy owl. But one day, it was gone! Janie was very sad. " - Where's Owl?" Janie asked, tears in her eyes. Mummy hugged her. " - We'll look together, Janie," Mummy said.
Janie and Mummy searched high and low. " - Under the sofa?" Mummy asked. Janie shook her head. " - Nope," she said. They looked in the kitchen and under the stairs. Still no owl.
They checked the garden next. But it started to rain! " - Oh no, rain!" Janie cried. They hurried back inside. Janie sat down, feeling sadder. " - Owl is lost forever," she said.
Janie felt like giving up. " - I miss Owl," she whispered. Mummy and Nan sat with her. " - It's okay, Janie," Nan said softly. " - We'll find Owl." But Janie couldn't smile.
Then Nan had an idea! " - Let's try one more place," Nan suggested. Upstairs they went, to Janie's bedroom. " - I remember now!" Janie exclaimed. There under the pillow was Owl, safe and sound!
Janie hugged her toy owl tight. " - Found you, Owl!" she giggled. Mummy and Nan smiled proudly. " - You never gave up," Mummy said. Janie learned that with love, they could solve anything together.
