In the bustling city of Ahmedabad, 7-year-old Nia finds a scared and hurt puppy named TenTen. As she tries to help him, she faces a series of challenges that test her courage and empathy. Will Nia be able to overcome these obstacles and give TenTen the care he needs?
Once upon a time in Ahmedabad, a city filled with tall buildings and busy streets, lived Nia, a cheerful 7-year-old girl. She loved exploring, especially the little garden near her house. One sunny day, while playing, Nia heard a soft whimpering. She found a tiny puppy, scared and hurt, hiding behind a bush. Nia named him TenTen and decided to help him.
Nia wanted to take TenTen home, but the puppy was too afraid to move. She gently talked to him, " - It's okay, little one. I'm here to help." Despite her soothing voice, TenTen hesitated and backed away. Nia needed to find a way to gain TenTen's trust. " - What if I can't help him?" Nia wondered, feeling worried.
Nia tried to pick up TenTen, but he wiggled free and ran a little further. She followed him patiently, " - Please don't be scared, TenTen." Just as she thought she was getting closer, loud noises from the street startled him again. Nia felt tears welling up, " - How will I ever help him?" she thought.
Feeling defeated, Nia sat on the garden bench, her heart heavy. " - Maybe I should give up," she sighed. But deep down, she knew she couldn't leave TenTen alone. " - I can't let fear win," she whispered to herself, remembering her mom's words about courage. Nia was determined to try again.
As Nia sat quietly, an elderly gardener approached her. " - I see you're trying to help that little one," he said kindly. " - Yes, but he won't come to me," Nia replied. The gardener smiled, " - Patience and love are key. Let him come to you." Inspired, Nia sat quietly, waiting for TenTen to approach.
With her heart full of hope, Nia waited patiently. Slowly, TenTen crept towards her, his tail wagging slightly. " - You're safe with me," she murmured softly. Finally, TenTen snuggled into her lap, trusting her completely. " - We're going to be the best of friends," Nia promised, feeling proud and happy.
