- Why don't they want to play with me? Cacá asked their mom. - Sometimes people don't understand differences, their mom replied.
Cacá tried to join a game of soccer. They kicked the ball but missed. The kids laughed and didn't let Cacá try again.
Feeling very sad, Cacá sat on a bench. They felt like giving up. - Maybe I shouldn't go to the park anymore, Cacá thought.
Just then, a friendly boy named João came over. - Hi, I'm João. Do you want to play with me? he asked. Cacá smiled and nodded.
João and Cacá played together. They built a sandcastle and took turns on the slide. João showed the other kids how much fun it was to play with Cacá.
Soon, the other kids joined in. They realized how special Cacá was. - We're sorry, Cacá. We didn't understand before, one of the kids said. Cacá felt happy and accepted.
