Zane tried to make himself smaller. - I'll crouch down, he thought. But when he did, he accidentally knocked over a flower pot. - Oops! Zane said. The flowers scattered, and people gasped, making Zane feel clumsy and sad.
Zane sat by the river, feeling very sad. He thought about giving up finding a friend. - Maybe no one will ever like me, he said softly. The wind blew gently, and Zane closed his eyes, feeling tired and lonely.
Suddenly, a little girl with a bright smile came and sat next to Zane. - Hi, I'm Mia, she said. Zane looked up, surprised. - You're not scared of me? he asked. - No, you're just big and fluffy! Mia laughed. Zane felt a burst of happiness, realizing he found a friend.
