In the warm and bustling suburb of Angola, lived a curious boy named Yannis Yohanne. Yannis loved exploring and learning new things. One sunny day, he noticed something strange. All the kind words in his neighborhood were disappearing! Without these words, people were becoming sad and angry.
Yannis decided he had to find these missing words. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but he was determined. He packed his bag with some snacks and a notebook. 'I must find the words and bring happiness back!' he said to himself.
Yannis's first stop was the old library. He believed the words might be hiding there. When he arrived, the librarian told him, 'The words might be in the books, but they are not coming out.' Yannis felt puzzled. How could he make the words come out?
Yannis decided to read aloud from the books, hoping the words would appear. He read for hours, but the words stayed hidden. 'Why won't they come out?' Yannis wondered. He felt a little discouraged but didn't give up.
Next, Yannis visited the town square. He saw people arguing and feeling sad. 'Maybe the words are hiding because people are not kind anymore,' he thought. Yannis tried to talk to the people, but they were too upset to listen.
Yannis then went to the park, where he met his friend Ayo. 'Ayo, have you seen the kind words?' Yannis asked. 'No, but I've noticed people are not smiling anymore,' Ayo replied. They decided to search together.
Yannis and Ayo searched the park but found no words. They felt tired and sat down under a big tree. 'Maybe the words are gone forever,' Yannis said sadly. Ayo put his arm around Yannis. 'We'll find them. We just need to think harder,' Ayo encouraged.
Days went by, and Yannis felt like giving up. 'I don't know where else to look,' he said to Ayo. 'We've tried everything.' Yannis felt tears in his eyes. 'What if I can't bring the words back?'
Just then, an old wise woman approached them. 'I heard you're looking for the kind words,' she said. 'You must show kindness to find them. Start by helping others, and the words will return.' Yannis's eyes brightened. 'We can do that!' he exclaimed.
Yannis and Ayo started helping their neighbors. They carried groceries, shared their toys, and played with younger kids. Slowly, the kind words began to reappear. 'Thank you,' 'Please,' and 'You’re welcome' were heard again. The neighborhood started smiling!
