He tried to ask the animals for help. But the birds were busy building nests and the rabbits were too small to carry water. - Who will help me now? Menino Dourado asked. He felt alone and unsure of what to do next. The golden seed still lay waiting on the hard ground.
Feeling defeated, Menino Dourado sat by the seed. - Maybe I should give up, he thought. He watched the clouds and felt a tear trickle down his cheek. The seed seemed to whisper, urging him to find another way. But he felt too tired to try again.
An old turtle approached slowly. - Patience, young one, the turtle said. - The rain will come, and the earth will soften. Menino Dourado realized he had been rushing. He nodded, feeling hope bloom in his heart. - Thank you, wise turtle! he exclaimed.
The rain finally came, soaking the ground. Menino Dourado danced in the puddles, laughing with joy. He planted the seed in the softened earth. - Now, grow big and strong, he whispered. Soon, a sprout appeared, bright and golden, like sunshine.
