Follow Max, a curious one-year-old, as he embarks on a journey of growth and discovery, overcoming the challenges of learning to move on his own in his suburban home. Max must find the courage to rise after each fall, striving to walk independently.
Max sat on the soft carpet, surrounded by toys. At 3 months old, he could sit with a little help from mom. His blue shoes kicked in the air. But Max had a big dream. He wanted to stand tall on his own!
By 5 months, Max could sit without help. He clapped his hands with joy. "Look, Mom! I'm sitting all by myself!" But the floor seemed so far away. Max wondered how he could ever stand.
At 7 months, Max tried to get into a sitting position. He wobbled and tumbled. "Oh no!" said Max, feeling a bit scared. He wanted to try again. But how?
Max stood while holding onto the couch. His legs shook, but he was determined. "I can do it!" he whispered. But the couch seemed too big to climb.
Crawling was Max's new trick by 8 months. He zoomed across the floor, giggling. But crawling wasn't enough! He wanted to walk like the big kids!
By 9 months, Max could pull himself up to stand. He reached for the coffee table, wobbling. "I did it!" he cheered. But standing was just the start.
At 10 months, Max felt 10 years old, he was walking, guided by him mom! "I'm doing it!" Max laughed. But he wanted to do it all by himself.
But Max felt tired. The floor seemed so far away. "I can't do it", he sighed. Maybe walking wasn't for him after all.
Then Grandpa had an idea. "What if you try with your favorite toy?" Max tried again, holding his teddy bear. Suddenly, he felt brave.
At 12 months, Max took his first steps alone. "I'm walking!" he shouted with glee. His dream had come true. Max was on his own two feet.
