Max was a curious little boy. He loved exploring his home, but there was one thing he wanted more than anything else: to walk all by himself.
At five months, Max could sit on his own. But walking seemed so far away, and he felt a little worried.
Max tried to reach his favorite toy but couldn't quite get there. He wobbled but stayed determined.
He wanted to stand like his big brother, but his little legs weren't ready yet.
Max decided to crawl to the kitchen, but the tiles were slippery, and he stumbled.
At nine months, Max could pull himself up. But he still needed something to hold onto.
Max held onto his mom's hands and took a few shaky steps. But he fell and felt a bit sad.
Max felt like giving up. Walking was too hard.
Then, Dad said, - You can do it, Max! Max felt hopeful again.
Finally, Max stood up without help and took his first steps. He felt so proud!
