Oushnika was a little girl who lived in Bangalore. One day, a giant demon named Ravana came to her village and stole all the food. The villagers were scared and hungry. Oushnika knew something had to be done. She decided to be brave and help her village.
Oushnika wanted to fight the giant demon, but she didn't know how. She found a big stick and pretended it was a sword. As she marched towards the demon's castle, she felt scared. But she remembered the stories about brave warriors.
When Oushnika reached the castle, the demon Ravana saw her and laughed. - A little girl wants to fight me? Ravana said. Oushnika tried to stay brave. - I am Oushnika, the brave warrior! I will defeat you! she shouted. The demon laughed even harder.
Oushnika felt discouraged. The demon was so big and strong. She started to think that maybe she couldn't do it. - Maybe I should just go home, she whispered to herself. She sat down and felt like giving up.
Suddenly, a bright light appeared in the sky. It was Lord Rama, the brave prince. - Don't give up, Oushnika. I am here to help you, Lord Rama said. Oushnika felt hopeful again. Together, they would fight the demon.
Lord Rama and Oushnika fought the giant demon for many days. Finally, they defeated Ravana. - We did it! Oushnika cheered. The villagers were very happy and grateful. They celebrated Dussehra to remember their victory over the demon.
