Playtime: The Beginning
Rita, a curious seven-year-old, finds herself in a mysterious situation when a scientist invites her and her friends to his laboratory. With courage and quick thinking, she must save her friends from a strange transformation.
It was a sunny day at school, and Rita and her friends, known as the Playtime group, were excited to play tag. Just then, a scientist arrived and invited them to explore his laboratory. Rita felt unsure, sensing something was not right. - "I'm not sure we should go," Rita said. But the scientist promised wonderful discoveries, sparking curiosity among the group. They decided to follow him, eager to see what awaited them.
Inside the lab, the scientist offered them a strange-colored milkshake. Rita hesitated, thinking it might be unsafe. - "I don't know if we should drink this," she whispered to Molly. Her friends seemed unsure too, but the scientist assured them it would make them super intelligent. They decided to sit down and watch a film the scientist prepared. Rita couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.
As the lights dimmed and the film played, the children started to feel sleepy. Rita's eyelids grew heavy, and soon she was fast asleep. When she woke up, she found herself in a glass box, feeling very different. - "What's happening to me?" she cried, noticing her reflection had changed. Her heart pounded as she realized she wasn't herself anymore. Panic set in, and she desperately looked for a way out.
Rita felt trapped and hopeless, unsure how to escape or save her friends. She tried calling for help, but her voice was strange and unrecognizable. - "I can't do this," she thought, tears welling up in her eyes. Just then, a boy named Theo entered the lab, having seen everything. He didn't recognize Rita at first, but she called out to him. - "Theo, it's me, Rita! Please help!"
With newfound courage, Theo grabbed a hammer and broke the glass, freeing Rita. - "Thank you, Theo!" Rita exclaimed, feeling relieved. Together, they sneaked through the lab, searching for their friends. Room by room, they found them, still asleep but unharmed. - "We have to get out of here," Theo urged, and Rita nodded, determined to save everyone.
Finally, they gathered everyone and made a dash for the exit. The scientist appeared, but Rita was ready. - "Take this!" she shouted, throwing the milkshake at him. It splashed all over, and the scientist was knocked out. - "Let's go!" Molly shouted as they locked the door behind them and tossed the key away. Rita, still transformed, smiled. - "This isn't so bad," she said, feeling braver than ever.
