Ra-Ra Learns to Jump
Ra-Ra, a curious young Border Collie, dreams of leaping high into the air to catch flying discs. But when dock diving seems too daunting, Ra-Ra must find the courage to overcome fear and learn to jump with heart.
Ra-Ra lived in the green fields of New England, where the grass was tall and the sky was blue. Ra-Ra loved to play, run, and wag her tail. But there was one thing Ra-Ra dreamed of doing: jumping high to catch flying discs. She watched other dogs dive off the dock into the water. Ra-Ra wanted to try but was scared to jump from so high.
Ra-Ra decided to try jumping. She ran fast, her heart pounding. But when she reached the edge, she stopped suddenly. The water looked too far away. The other dogs watched and waited. " - I can't do it," Ra-Ra said to herself, feeling small.
Ra-Ra tried again the next day. She ran to the dock, but her paws slipped. She fell with a splash, not a jump. " - Oh no!" Ra-Ra barked, shaking the water off. She felt embarrassed and sad. The other dogs encouraged her softly, " - You can do it, Ra-Ra!"
Ra-Ra sat quietly, feeling defeated. " - Maybe I should give up," she thought. " - Jumping is too hard." The wind blew gently, and the sun felt warm on her back. She lay down, tired and upset. " - I wish I could be brave," Ra-Ra sighed.
Then, a wise old owl flew down and perched nearby. " - Courage is not about never being afraid," the owl hooted. " - It's about trying even when you are scared." Ra-Ra listened closely, her ears perked up. Suddenly, she felt a spark of hope. " - Maybe I can try one more time," Ra-Ra said with a smile.
With renewed courage, Ra-Ra ran again. This time, she didn't stop. She leaped into the air with all her might. The wind rushed past her ears, and she splashed into the water with a joyful bark. " - I did it!" Ra-Ra cheered, wagging her tail. The other dogs clapped their paws, and Ra-Ra felt proud and brave.
