Then, they picked up a sunny yellow crayon. "Yellow is for the shiny sun because you light up my day just like it!" Gigi drew Reese swinging high on a swing under a bright, yellow sun, both laughing in the picture.
"Green is next!" Reese shouted, bouncing with joy. "It’s for all the trees and their leaves that dance in the wind, just like you dance around!" They drew a big, green tree, with Reese swinging from it, shouting "Higher, Gigi, higher!"
The blue crayon was perfect for their next picture. "Blue is as deep as the sea and as high as the sky, just like your big, big dreams!" Together, they drew a beautiful beach with waves and a sky full of fluffy clouds. Gigi and Reese giggled as they added two playful dolphins leaping through the waves, just like they had seen together on their special day at the beach.
"Indigo is a fancy color," Gigi smiled. "It’s for the beautiful butterflies you chase in the garden." They drew a pretty indigo butterfly fluttering over a bunch of flowers, with Reese twirling below, dizzy with delight.
Finally, they picked up the purple crayon. "Purple is for how smart and kind you are, like when you pick flowers to give to your family." They drew Reese with a bunch of purple flowers, handing them out with a big, kind smile.

'Violet is for kindness,' said Grandma. 'Like when you helped me in the garden.' Reese hugged her Grandma, 'I love helping you.'
