Roa, o Rei da Selva

Roa, the little lion cub, lived in the heart of the lush jungle. Everyone called him the King of the Jungle, but Roa was scared of everything. One day, his friend, the gentle gazelle, was captured by the mean hyena, the jungle villain. Roa wanted to help, but he was too scared. The jungle animals whispered about Roa’s fear, and Roa felt very sad.

Roa decided to go find the gazelle, but he stumbled upon a deep, dark river. Roa shivered as he watched the water rush by. - What if I fall? he whispered to himself. The river seemed too scary to cross. Roa turned back, feeling even more frightened.

Roa tried again the next day, only to come across a group of chattering monkeys. They teased him, saying he was too scared to be a real king. - You can't do it, Roa! they laughed. Roa's heart sank, and he ran away, hiding under a big leaf, feeling like he could never be brave.

Feeling hopeless, Roa sat by a big tree and cried. He thought he would never be brave enough to save his friend. - I can't do it, he sobbed. The jungle felt so big and scary without his friend. Roa closed his eyes and wished he could be strong.

Suddenly, an old wise owl landed beside him. - Courage is in your heart, Roa, the owl hooted gently. Roa listened carefully. - You must believe in yourself and take small steps. Roa felt a warmth in his heart and nodded. He stood up, ready to try again.

With newfound courage, Roa faced the river again. This time, he took small steps and crossed carefully. The jungle cheered as he approached the hyena's lair. Roa roared with all his might, and the hyena ran away. - You're safe now, Roa said to the gazelle. Roa smiled, proud to be the brave King of the Jungle.
