Sandra wanted to help fix the water problem but didn't know where to start. She tried using a big book to find answers, but the words were too difficult to understand. "I can't read all these big words", Sandra sighed. Her grandpa smiled and handed her a magnifying glass. "Maybe this will help you see things differently", he suggested.
Using the magnifying glass, Sandra discovered small bugs in a water drop. She thought she had found the solution, but the bugs were not the cause of the dirty water. "Oh no, it's not the bugs", she exclaimed. Feeling disappointed, Sandra decided to try something else. She mixed different liquids but nothing seemed to work.
After many tries, Sandra felt like giving up. "It's too hard", she said with tears in her eyes. Her grandpa hugged her and said, "Sometimes, we need to take a break to find the answer". Sandra sat quietly, watching the bubbles in a beaker, thinking about how important it was to clean the water.
Suddenly, Sandra remembered a story her grandpa told her about rainbows. "Grandpa, what if light can clean the water?" she asked excitedly. Her grandpa nodded and showed her how sunlight could help. Together, they used a glass jar and sunlight to clean the water. "It's working!" Sandra cheered as the water became clearer.
