In the heart of Gwydir Forest, young rabbit detective Roger Scherlock loved solving mysteries. One sunny morning, all the acorns went missing! Without the acorns, the forest animals would go hungry. Roger knew he had to solve the mystery quickly. - Where did they go? Roger wondered.
Roger began his search by following the tiny trails left in the dirt. Suddenly, a gust of wind swept the trail away! - Oh no! How will I find the acorns now? Roger exclaimed. He needed a new plan to track down the acorns.
Roger decides to ask his friend Squeaky, the squirrel, for help. - Have you seen the acorns? Roger asked. Squeaky had been busy gathering nuts but hadn't seen anything unusual. Disappointed, Roger realized this was another dead end.
As Roger searched, he stumbled upon a muddy path. The mud was too thick to cross! - I can't go this way, Roger sighed. He had to find another route through the forest.
Roger tried going around the mud but soon reached a steep hill. Climbing it was difficult for his small paws. - I'll never find the acorns, Roger thought, feeling frustrated.
Exhausted from his search, Roger sat down under a big oak tree. - Maybe I should give up, he said softly. But deep down, he knew he couldn't let his forest friends down.
As Roger rested, a wise old owl named Oliver flew down. - Don't give up, young rabbit, Oliver hooted. - Sometimes the answer is right above you. Roger looked up and saw a clue on the tree branches!
Roger noticed a trail of acorns leading from the branches to a hidden burrow. He had found the thief's lair! - I know where the acorns are, Roger exclaimed, feeling hopeful.
Roger followed the trail to a playful raccoon who had unknowingly taken the acorns. - I'm sorry, I didn't know they were yours, the raccoon said. Roger smiled and explained the importance of sharing.
