Rose, a gifted shadow weaver, embarks on a journey through the forest with her talking shadow Cindy, seeking freedom from a magic-eating noble and searching for a way to make Cindy human. Rose lived in a huge mansion on the edge of an ancient forest, where shadows danced under the moonlight. Her unique gift of weaving shadows had always fascinated her, but her parents disapproved. One day, a noble who was a secret magic eater which meant he consumed magic visited, offering to rid Rose of her powers. Rose felt her heart race with fear and boldness. She couldn't imagine life without Cindy, her only friend and shadow. so Cindy asked Rose if she wanted to stay with her and her powers, Rose said yes, and in return, she would turn Cindy human again.
