Join Sunray, a curious little girl with olive skin, curly brown hair, and big green eyes, on an adventurous quest in the English countryside. Sunray and her magical dandelion friends face a mysterious problem that requires wisdom to solve. Will they find the solution in time?
Once upon a time there was a little girl named Sunray and a little ray was she. She lived with her Mummy, Daddy and baby twins to be. Sunray was a curious soul, with eyes ready to explore the world. Her favourite thing to do was to lie in the tall garden grass and look at the sky so high. Here she would speak with her special friends, Kindness, Courage and Change.
Sunray and her friends walked through the fields to find the source of the problem. Suddenly, they reached a river that was too wide to cross. Sunray felt sad. How could they continue their quest?
They found a fallen log to use as a bridge. But halfway across, the log started to wobble. - Hold on tight! Sunray shouted. They made it across, but then faced a thick, dark forest. - I'm scared, said one dandelion.
The forest was dark and full of strange noises. - I can't do this, Sunray said. She sat down and cried. Her friends hugged her. - We'll never find out why the sun is dim, she sobbed.
Just then, a wise old owl flew down. - Use your heart and mind, he said. Sunray thought hard. - We need to be brave and smart, she said. They thanked the owl and continued their journey through the forest.
Finally, they found a big, shiny mirror blocking the sun. Sunray realized they could turn the mirror to reflect the sunlight. - Let's do it together! she said. With all their strength, they turned the mirror. The sun shone brightly again!
