Tale by Mr. Tale

Charity Watercolor style

Lily, an adventurous 8-year-old, discovers a mysterious storybook in Istanbul that leads her on a journey to understand the value of charity. Faced with numerous challenges, she learns that giving can solve problems in unexpected ways.

Lily loved visiting the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. One day, she stumbled upon a dusty old book titled "Tale by Mr. Tale." As she opened it, a strange wind blew the pages, revealing a hidden message. "Find the lost treasure and share it," it said. Lily felt excited and a bit scared.

Lily showed the book to her friend, Aylin. - What do you think it means? Lily asked. - Maybe there's treasure hidden in Istanbul, Aylin suggested. Lily decided they had to find it, but they didn’t know where to start. Just then, the book glowed and pointed towards the Bosphorus.

Lily and Aylin reached the Bosphorus, but they found no clues. Instead, they met an old fisherman. - You seek the treasure? he chuckled. - Yes, do you know anything about it? Lily asked eagerly. - It's not what you think, he replied cryptically.

The book's next page directed them to a busy street filled with musicians. They searched everywhere, but no treasure was in sight. Lily felt frustrated and sat down. - It's too hard, she sighed. Aylin tried to cheer her up. - Let's not give up yet, she encouraged.

Determined to continue, they went to the Hagia Sophia. But inside, it was crowded and noisy. They couldn't hear each other. - Maybe this is a mistake, Lily thought. But then, she noticed a peculiar pattern on the floor. - Look, this could be something! Aylin pointed out.

The pattern led them to a small garden. But there, they found nothing but flowers. - We must keep looking, Lily insisted. Just as they were about to leave, a stray cat appeared. It had a ribbon with a small key attached. - Maybe this is a sign! Aylin exclaimed.

They followed the cat, which led them to an ancient fountain. But the fountain was dry and abandoned. - What now? Lily wondered aloud. Aylin looked around and noticed an inscription on the fountain’s base. - It says, 'Give and ye shall receive,' she read.

Lily felt defeated and sat by the fountain. - Maybe this isn't for us, she said sadly. Just then, a kind woman offered them some bread. - Thank you, Lily said, feeling grateful. Suddenly, the fountain started to flow with water, revealing a hidden compartment.

Inside the compartment was a small, glowing orb. - This must be the treasure! Aylin exclaimed. But Lily remembered the book's message. - We should share it, she said. They decided to give the orb to a local charity, spreading the joy it contained.

The next day, they visited a children's home and donated the orb. The children were overjoyed, and Lily felt a warm glow in her heart. - We did the right thing, Aylin smiled. Lily nodded, realizing that their journey taught them the true treasure was in giving.
