After hours of searching, Fino found a fallen tree that could act as a bridge. Carefully, he balanced his way across. But no sooner had he crossed the river than he faced another challenge: a dense thicket of thorny bushes. The bushes were thick and seemed endless.
Fino tried to push through the thicket, but the thorns scratched his arms and legs. Exhausted and in pain, he sat down and considered giving up. Finding the fox and the hedgehog seemed impossible. Tears welled up in his eyes as he whispered, 'Maybe I should just go home.'
Just then, a gentle voice spoke. 'Why are you so sad, young one?' It was the wise old owl, perched on a nearby tree. The owl told Fino to use his mind and heart together. 'Sometimes, wisdom is about finding a different path,' the owl advised. Fino realized he needed to find another way around the thicket.
