Welcome to Evergreen Farm where I was born. My name is Prickly Barry, and I am a cute hedgehog with spiky fur. My best friend is Rabbie Carrots, and we both dream of becoming brilliant detectives. One evening, someone knocked frantically at my door. I was in my pajamas, ready to sleep when I realized we had a new case.

It was 9:00 pm, and Rabbie Carrots was still sleeping in his cozy bed. Suddenly, a knock on the door woke him up. He opened the door to see Prickly Barry out of breath. Rabbie Carrots yawned and asked, - So what's all the fuss about? Prickly Barry told him that someone had stolen all the apples from Frida Ferret’s kitchen.

Rabbie Carrots rubbed his eyes and chewed his whiskers. He grabbed his detective hat, coat, magnifying glass, and a juicy orange carrot. Together, they strolled through the woods, searching for clues. They finally arrived at Frida Ferret’s house and knocked on the door. Frida invited them in and offered them a cup of tea.

- Someone stole all my apples! Frida cried. Rabbie Carrots and Prickly Barry listened carefully and took notes. - We will find the thief, promised Rabbie. They said goodbye to Frida and walked out. Suddenly, Rabbie’s whiskers straightened.

- I solved the case! Rabbie exclaimed. - Already? asked Prickly Barry. - Let’s head to Norman Nibbles' house immediately. They hurried to the farmer’s house where Norman Nibbles lived. But as soon as they arrived, they encountered Whiskers the cat.

Whiskers hated visitors, except for Mr. Phillips, the farmer. Prickly Barry was terrified and curled into a ball. - I’ll distract him while you find Norman, Rabbie whispered. Rabbie darted into the room, and Whiskers followed him. Meanwhile, Prickly Barry searched desperately for Norman.

Prickly Barry slipped and lost one of his slippers. He fell next to a mousetrap which snapped and caught his whiskers. He squeaked loudly. Meanwhile, Rabbie was cornered by Whiskers and hit a table, causing a vase to fall on his head. Whiskers laughed and fell on her back.

Norman Nibbles heard the noise and came out of his hole. He saw Rabbie with a vase on his head and Prickly Barry whimpering on the floor. - What are you two doing here? he asked. - We are here to investigate, replied Prickly Barry. - Where is Rabbie Carrots?

Norman quickly nibbled on Prickly Barry’s whiskers, freeing him. - Thank you, Norman! cheered Prickly Barry. - Now, let’s get Rabbie out of that vase. They carefully removed the vase from Rabbie's head. - We need to ask you some questions about the stolen apples, Barry said.

- I found them by the river, Norman confessed. - I was hungry and didn’t know they belonged to Frida. Rabbie and Barry smiled. - We need to return them and apologize, Rabbie said. They all headed back to Frida’s house with the apples. Frida forgave Norman, and they all became friends.
