Deedee loved to play in the sunny fields of England. One day, she noticed that her friend, the little rabbit, was sad. The rabbit's home was broken, and he had nowhere to go. Deedee knew she had to help. But how could a little dog fix a rabbit's home?
Deedee tried to dig a new hole for the rabbit. But the ground was too hard. Deedee didn't give up. She thought of another way to help her friend. She went to find more friends to help.
Deedee found a squirrel and asked for help. - Can you help us build a new home for the rabbit? Deedee asked. The squirrel shook his head. - I don't know how to dig, he said. Deedee felt sad but didn't give up.
Deedee found a bird and asked for help. - Can you help us build a new home for the rabbit? Deedee asked. The bird shook her head. - I can't dig, but I can find twigs, she said. Deedee thanked the bird and kept looking for more help.
Deedee found a hedgehog and asked for help. - Can you help us build a new home for the rabbit? Deedee asked. The hedgehog nodded. - I can help gather leaves, he said. Deedee was happy to have another friend willing to help.
Deedee felt tired. She had tried to help, but it wasn't enough. - I don't think we can do it, she said sadly. The rabbit looked at Deedee with teary eyes. - Thank you for trying, he said. Deedee wanted to cry too.
Just then, an old wise owl flew down. - Why do you look so sad, young Deedee? the owl asked. - We can't build a new home for my friend, Deedee said. The owl thought for a moment. - You don't have to do it alone, the owl said. - Work together.
Deedee had an idea. She asked all her friends to come together. - If we all help, we can do it! Deedee said. The friends agreed. They worked together, gathering twigs, leaves, and even finding a softer spot to dig.
With everyone's help, they built a new home for the rabbit. - We did it! Deedee cheered. The rabbit was so happy. - Thank you, everyone! he said. Deedee felt proud of her friends.
The rabbit invited everyone to his new home. They all played and had fun. - Helping others feels good, Deedee said. The friends agreed and promised to always help each other. Deedee learned that together, they could do anything.
