Maria Helena loved playing in the garden. One day, she heard a tiny voice say, "Find the wise owl!" She looked around, but only saw flowers and trees. Maria Helena's heart leapt with excitement. "I will find the wise owl!" she decided. She knew the owl could teach her something important.
Maria Helena set off to find the wise owl. But the path was blocked by tall grass. "How will I get through?" she wondered. She tried pushing the grass, but it was too thick. "Maybe I need a plan," she thought. Maria Helena sat down, feeling puzzled.
Maria Helena thought hard and decided to walk around the grass. But then, she found a big muddy puddle. "Oh no, how will I cross?" she said. "I could jump, but what if I fall?" Maria Helena felt a little scared. She looked for a way around.
Maria Helena sat by the puddle, feeling sad. "I can't find the wise owl," she sighed. "Should I go back home?" She thought about all she had tried. "Maybe it's too hard," she whispered. Maria Helena felt like giving up.
Then, Maria Helena heard a gentle voice. "Don't give up, little one," it said. She looked up and saw a kind old turtle. "Think about what you know," the turtle smiled. Maria Helena realized she could use stepping stones. "Thank you, Mr. Turtle!" she exclaimed.
Maria Helena used the stones to cross the puddle. She felt proud of her wisdom. At last, she saw the wise owl perched on a tree. "You've learned to think and solve problems," the owl hooted. Maria Helena smiled, happy she didn't give up. She learned that wisdom is finding a way even when it's hard.
