Shivaji knew he needed a plan to stop Afzal, but he didn't know where to start. His friends Samaji and Bhavani were also unsure. - "How can we stop Afzal?" Samaji asked, looking worried. They gathered by the big banyan tree to think. Just then, a big gust of wind blew their hats away.
As they chased their hats, Shivaji tripped over a root and fell. He felt a little sad and thought about giving up. - "Maybe stopping a bandit is too hard," Shivaji sighed. But his friends helped him stand up. - "We can do it, Shivaji! Don't give up," Bhavani encouraged. Shivaji smiled a little, feeling their support.
Feeling unsure, Shivaji sat by the river, watching the water sparkle in the sun. He thought about the stories his mother told him. - "You are brave, my son," he remembered her saying. Just then, a wise old sage appeared. - "Courage is in your heart, Shivaji," the sage said kindly. Shivaji knew he couldn't give up.
